Disabilities limit our ability to function on our own. A well trained Service Dog can help you regain independence, and self reliance.
There are many types and degrees of disability. Your situation is like no other. We do not train dogs for a disability. Our goal is to provide the instruction so you can help your dog meet your specific disability needs.
Here is a short list of things a service dog can be trained to do.
Assisting with manual tasks: seeing, hearing, eating, retrieval, sleeping, walking, standing, stabilizing, pulling a wheelchair, bending, reaching, lifting, self care assistance, breathing, getting assistance, protecting during seizures, etc.
Assisting with cognitive skills: learning, thinking, concentration, calming, communication, remembering, working.
They can also alert to medical and mental conditions long before they would otherwise be apparent: diabetes, seizure disorders, PTSD, anxiety, OCD, asthma, anaphylaxis, hypertension, avoiding alergens, etc.

Heritage Service Dogs is located on the border of Washington and Oregon in the Walla Walla Valley. We are on our 4th generation AKC Registered Standard Poodle Service Dogs for our breeding program. Big and beautiful, poodles are listed as the second most intelligent, trainable dog in the world. We love the variety in the original characteristics of the parti poodles.
STANDARD PARTI POODLE PUPPIES FOR SALE
Our Standard Poodle lines are very sociable. Poodles were originally bred and trained as retrievers. Their natural talents and abilities make them a perfect choice for service work. They will settle down for long periods of time, yet are enthusiastic and ready to go when you are. As retrievers they will be glad to pick things up and bring them to you. They are large enough to use for support, balance, pulling doors open, and reaching. They do not shed, so are less likely to cause allergic responses.
Our puppies spend their first weeks in a loving home environment
where they are handled constantly, imprinting them to their human counterparts and to a home environment. The pups are then moved to the nursery where they have room to romp and play, and learn to use the doggy door to go outside to go potty.
As a Certified Dog Trainer, I have put together a training program that starts at birth followed by an online service dog training assistance program. We specialize in assisting the disabled handler to train their own service dog, taking them step by step through the program. Taking advantage of the stages of physical, emotional, and social development during this training.

As you can see, we breed for temperament, instead of a particular color. Our parti puppies can be shades from black to silver, brown, apricot to creme and white. The blacks may stay solid or fade to silver. White and creme will be white.
Regardless of the color, they are all beautiful.
